This year we have been focusing on rewilding the school environment. The purpose of rewilding is to encourage wild plants to flourish in an area. Wild growing areas provide a better habitat for animals to live in compared to mowed grass. By increasing the wild areas around school we hope to increase the biodiversity that is present on the school grounds. We will investigate the different areas around school in science, looking at the different types of plants and wildlife that we can discover.

We are proud to announce that our work rewilding the green space around school has allowed us to achieve a 'Gold Award' from Rewilding Rotherham!

Last year the hard work of our Eco-Warriors helped the school to earn the Eco School’s Green Flag award. The Eco Warriors shared with the school the importance of looking after our school and our community.

They showed their dedication to improving our school by completing litter picking activities. Helping to improve the school grounds for everyone who uses them.
